Description
The Feria of San Pedro dates back to the founding of the town, in 1860. General Manuel Gutiérrez de la Concha e Irigoyen, first Marqués of Duero, founded it as an agricultural colony and named it after his mother Petra and a saint their family was highly devoted to, San Pedro Alcántara. The feria is a celebration involving typical Spanish culture, a fairground, parties, and events. If you are here around this time, it is a must-visit to experience a different side of Marbella than what you might be used to!
